Baltic Partners advised regional FMCG group on sale of snack business in Russia
8 May 2018 – Baltic Partners acted as the exclusive financial advisors in the process of disposal of assets in Russia.
Baltic Partners’ client was a leading regional manufacturer of snack products in CIS under brands Flint, Russkie Semki, Macho, Chipsters and Morskie. In 2017 the group Sales in Russia reached approximately 36 mUSD.
Baltic Partners team supported the transaction during all key stages of the process: marketing the opportunity, assisting in initial negotiations, coordinating due diligence process, managing final price negotiations as well as drafting Non-biding and Biding Term Sheet and supporting closing of the transaction. The transaction was led by Valeri Kulitski, Dmitry Smirnov and Volodymyr Tylnyi.
During the process the opportunity was presented to more than 35 local and foreign strategic investors. Short-listed investors signed Term Sheet, conducted complex due diligence and price negotiations.
As a result of the process, key trademarks were sold to KDV Group, while production and distribution assets were sold to local strategic investor. The deal allowed the client to maximise proceeds from exiting Russian market.
